and rules.
Q. Do you have a newsletter or mailing list for updates?
A. We do not currently have either. We do apologize. As soon as we put one into effect it
will be noted on the site!
Q. How much product does a 5 gram jar hold?
A. We know how confusing the jar sizes can be and have decided to list it all out for you.
Hopefully this will help you all!
5 Gram Jars - A little smaller than the size of a quarter. They are about 1" across and
3/4" tall. They hold about 1/4 Ounce, 6ml or 1/2 Tablespoon of product.
10 Gram Jars - A little smaller than a half-dollar piece. They are about 1.25" across and
3/4" tall. They hold about 1/2 Ounce, 12ml or 1 Tablespoon of product.
30 Gram Jars - About the size of a silver dollar. They are 2" across and 1" Tall. They
hold about 1.5 Ounces, 36ml or 3 Tablespoons of product.
The jar sizes are actually named according to how much water weight they will hold.
Powder is much lighter than water so this explains the difference between the jar "name"
and the actual amount of product it holds!
The 10 business day processing time is a maximum reference. More often, we are able to get
them out much faster. We are a 2 person business and both of us work full time jobs
elsewhere. Nights and weekends are full dedicated to TMM but there is quite a bit involved in
running this business. Anyone who has ever owned, or has known someone who owns a small
business is very familiar with the basic day to day details that are required. Answering emails,
website updates, order placements, stock counts - all this and more are vital to keeping our
business going. These things are surprisingly time consuming and occupy us fully.
We quote the 10 business days to allow time for such things as reformulation of products,
reordering of supplies in cases of large orders, restocking, etc. Since we are such a small
business with low margins we are not able to keep the high stock quantities that some other
companies do. This means we sometimes run out of stock and must reorder and reformulate
appropriately.
We do not process orders on Saturdays and Sundays. Those days are dedicated to stock
counts and reformulation. This is why we quote 10 BUSINESS days.
We are able to keep our margins low due to the size of our company and research constantly
for new manufacturers that might enable us to bring you even higher quality at even lower
prices. Occasionally, we are able to buy certain products in bulk and are now able to pass the
savings on to you via our new SALE page on the site.
We understand that 10 business days seems like an eternity to wait for your goodies but we
are confident that you will find it well worth the wait.
I hope this helps to give some insight as to why the processing time is so long and how
tirelessly we work to shorten that time. Please feel free to email us with any other questions or
concerns.
Q. Why so long?
Q. I love to use minerals on eyes, face and lips, but it seems that you use ferric
ferrocynide in your colors. There is debate over whether it is safe for lips. It is a
pigment like other minerals. So what should I do?
Here is a list of shades that contain that mineral:
Disco
Belfry
Gale
Mission
Gentry
Marine
Lagoon
Plumes
Dusk
Azul
Another shade that is not cosmetically approved for use on the lips is Iris.
Hope this helps!
